Nancy Forrest

Nancy Forrest is a Global Business Operations Leader with broad experience in strategic business negotiations, alliance management, operations, and driving decisions with cross-functional teams. She is currently Principal at Penrod Forrest, LLC.

Nancy recently retired from Bristol Myers Squibb as Vice President of Global Alliance Management. She has over 20 years’ experience actively leading and managing her team of ‘internal neutrals’ in joint decision-making, governance and conflict resolution for BMS’ expansive portfolio of pharmaceutical-company collaborations and licenses. She and her team also participated on a number of acquisition integration and asset divestiture teams over the years.

As a leader within BMS’ Strategy & Business Development function, Nancy developed numerous complex and global partnerships and navigated inter-company problem resolution. As part of this role, she and her team actively executed dispute prevention techniques and collaborated with internal/external legal experts on business issues potentially escalating to dispute. Employing these dispute prevention tools established BMS Global Alliance Management as a leader in optimizing collaborations and in mitigating their risks.

Nancy has worked in number of industries and companies, ranging from Bristol Myers Squibb (pharmaceutical), GE Capital (finance/leasing), Lockheed Martin (aerospace), and GE Transportation Systems (heavy manufacturing).

Nancy is a graduate of Penn State University. She obtained her MBA from Rutgers University.
