Lisa Love

Lisa D. Love, Esq., FCIArb., is an accomplished arbitrator, mediator and neutral evaluator who brings to her work as a neutral extensive experience as a transactional attorney. Lisa joined JAMS after serving as outside counsel to Fortune 500 companies and federal and state governmental agencies, an attorney with a major New York law firm, and as chief legal counsel to several municipalities.

Ms. Love has served as mediator, sole arbitrator and on panels handling a wide range of complex commercial transactions and legal disputes, including those focused on investments, corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, energy, life sciences, construction and infrastructure projects and development, licensing and technology transfers, franchises, commercial real estate, antitrust, government and public agency, and corporate governance matters.

As a transactional attorney with over 40 years of experience, Ms. Love uses her vast corporate experience representing parties on all sides of complex transactions to provide perspective, to inform her decision making as an arbitrator and neutral evaluator and to assist in conciliatory efforts as a mediator.

She has also served as a neutral evaluator in a billion-dollar hedge fund dispute and as an arbitrator in international and domestic arbitrations governed under the New York Convention, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the JAMS Comprehensive Rules and Procedures and various other institutional rules.

Ms. Love is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a fellow of the American College of Investment Counsel, a member of JAMS’s Global Engineering and Construction Group, a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Construction, an associate of the College of Commercial Arbitrators (CCA), a member of the CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution and a participant in the ICC 2023 – 2024 Advanced Arbitration Academy for North America.
